Powerball changed its rules for the first time in years and it needed a campaign to educate and excite new and old folks alike.
We turned our players into secret agents and sent them on a mission to Double Play the Powerball. With Saul Bass style art direction, a British special agent, and tons of puzzles, codes, and clues over social, we completed our mission with flying colors.

Our videos were set up to look like fake ads that were “INTERRUPTED” by Powerball HQ to play up the spy aesthetic. We started with this piece over social.

We followed with this piece on social and on Gas Station Televisions. Players just trying to grab a snack and fuel up were treated to quite the surprise.

Agents using LVMs (Lottery Vending Machines) were debriefed as well, with the added challenge of explaining the game with no sound.

During the campaign, these social transmissions to our 🚨AGENTS🚨 got more interaction than anything else during their cycle.
